42nd IFFI Goa 2011

The 42nd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) Goa is being scheduled to be held at Panaji, Goa from 23 November to 03 December 2011. Today 23rd Nov Wednesday, it will be inaugurated at Ravindra Bhavan in Margao, South Goa, on Wednesday at 5 p.m.

Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan will be the chief guest. The Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ambika Soni and Goa Chief Minister Digambar Kamat will also be present. South Indian superstar Suriya will add grace to the closing ceremony. 

This year, the IFFI will recognize distinguished technological breakthroughs that have given new definition of entertainment and innovation to the world's film industry. IFFI 2011 will include a special section on 3D films and animation apart from premieres, international screenings, homages to stalwarts, industry-oriented workshops, masterclasses by industry professionals, and much more.
